Note (2) The 1761 roster of Capt. William Edmonds' Company of Fauquier Militia lists "Alexander Jeffries". A James Jeffries, possibly a brother is also on the roster. Note (3) Note that while the death records says he died at age 100 years, this is somewhat inconsistant with the census record. Note (4) Died of "old age", 100 years. Informant was an unnamed son, likely Hiram. Note (5) The marriage record states that Clemence is the daughter of William and Elizabeth Dulin and that William was the bondsman.
