Event Notes Note (1) Both Peter and his father are listed as having been born in Clarksburg, PA on the death certificate. While it is known this is incorrect for Peter Senior, it may be correct for Peter C. although he consistantly gives Ohio as his birthplace. The 1850 census though indicates Peter C. and his siblings were all b. in PA. This was while the family lived in Mercer County and Peter C. was only a year old.
